Özbay Metal / Manufacturing capabilities

Our machinery

Cutting, forming, roll forming and welding are planned as a part-specific production route. The drawing, material and production quantity determine the equipment and process sequence.

Laser cutting

Our 6 kW laser cuts outer profiles, holes and internal openings to the drawing within a 4,000 × 2,000 mm working area. We plan sheet nesting around material use and production quantity, while accounting for subsequent bending, welding and assembly.

CNC punching

Our TRUMPF TruPunch 1000 and TRUMATIC 200 machines cut outer profiles and internal openings, punch holes and form features with suitable tools. Where part geometry permits, we combine operations on one machine and select tooling with later bending and assembly requirements in mind.

CNC press brake bending

Our TRUMPF TruBend 3120, AMADA HFT 80 and ERMAKSAN CNC TAP 4100 X 250 press brakes bend sheet metal parts to the angles and dimensions specified on the drawing. Tool access, material thickness and mating surfaces guide the bend sequence.

Robotic welding

Robotic welding brings sheet metal parts together as welded subassemblies. We plan fixture layout and weld sequence around joint access, part positioning and consistency across production runs. Welding and inspection requirements follow each project’s technical specifications.

Roll forming

Our roll forming line progressively shapes sheet metal through successive rollers to produce constant-section profiles. Profile geometry, material and required length are set according to the technical requirements of each job.

Technical review

What we establish
before production.

How do you choose between laser cutting and CNC punching?

Part geometry, material, thickness, production quantity and formed features determine the choice. Laser cutting handles varied contours; CNC punching can combine outer and internal cutting, hole punching and forming with suitable tools. The drawing determines the process.

Do you carry out operations after cutting?

Yes. Our capabilities include press brake bending, hydraulic forming and deep drawing, machining, welding, finishing and assembly. We also design and manufacture the required press dies. Process sequence follows the drawing and assembly requirements.

How do you assess a welded part for manufacture?

We review the material group, thickness, joint detail, welding process and inspection requirements together. Project requirements are checked against the relevant scope of our EN 15085-2 CL1 and ISO 3834-2 certificates. Certification does not replace a technical assessment of the individual part.
